This policy covers information collected by Gytha including the associated Gytha web site and services. Products and services are purchased via the gytha.com.

Customer Information:

Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products. Customer lists are not not sold or distributed to third parties. After making a purchase at our Internet Store, you will be automatically added to our mailing list. On occasion, Gytha may use customer lists to send information regarding new products or specials. If you do not wish to be included in future mailings please let us know by sending a short note to info@gytha.com.

Information is also collected voluntarily via our "Tell A Friend" and "Join Our Mailing List" links located throughout our site. The information gathered via these devices is used solely by Gytha for the purpose of dissemination of information regarding new products or specials.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card transactions are processed via Fleet Bank Merchant Services. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to our authorization service provider. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties.

Security:

Gytha uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to protect your personal information. SSL encrypts not only your credit card number but ALL of your personal information. Your online transactions always stay private and protected using this advanced system, which allows for worry-free shopping.

Information About Children:

Gytha does not attempt to collect personal information from children. Note that Gytha cannot always determine that a user is a child. Gytha does not maintain databases about children. Gytha does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Gytha further does not promote, condone or endorse the dissemination of information, or sale of products and services to minors when prohibited by law; including the dissemination or sale of pornographic materials to minors; and the sale of firearms, tobacco and alcohol to minors.

Web Site Log Files:

Web site log files are generated to collect the IP Address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited. Aggregate reports for web site visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information. Statistics about site usage, searches and click-throughs gathered by Gytha are collected in an aggregate format only. This information is used to assess traffic to the website, and to report search and click-through information to individual Store Members. Log files are used internally only, and are not associated with any particular user, computer or browser.

Cookies:

The web store uses cookies that keep track of items ordered. They are used so a user can shop and maintain a list of items in their "shopping cart" and have a total due calculated. A user does not have to supply any personal information unless they decide to complete an order and pay via credit card. Orders can also be printed and paid by mail or fax without entering any information.

Site Visitor Interaction with Stores:

The Gytha website may include links to third-party websites. Gytha has no control over the privacy practices of these websites. Once a Site Visitor has linked from Gytha to a third-party website, the visitor is responsible for obtaining Privacy Policy information from the third-party site.
